Overview

While reviewing Kerio Control Interfaces settings, one of the interfaces is showing a Connectivity problem state. The Internet connectivity mode is set to Multiple links with Load Balancing and PPPoE modes.

Debug logs with Internet Connectivity display the following output:

{connectivity} Availability detection on interface "WAN-VNPT": no probe hosts defined, using RAS server's address: x.x.x.x.
{connectivity} Availability detection on interface "WAN-VNPT": sending probe to x.x.x.x directly via the interface.
{connectivity} Availability detection on interface "WAN-VNPT": probe timeout.

Solution

In the Interfaces configuration, click on Advanced -> specify the Google's server, 8.8.8.8, in the "Use the following specified IP addresses as the probe hosts" field. Click OK and Apply to save the settings.

Testing

The interface status should become "UP".
