Overview

When trying to configure High availability mode between hardware boxes with two Internet connections, it requires a specific setup. It includes port and switch configuration to connect Kerio Control boxes with each other.

Such configuration is achievable for Kerio Control NG100, NG300, and NG500 boxes.

Preconditions

Be familiar with general High Availability configuration and its special cases

Solution

1. Connect both Internet Connections to both the Kerio Control boxes via a switch.
2. Connect boxes between each other using the dedicated HA link (yellow line).
   
   
3. Make sure to configure identical settings: Master and Slave version should be the same, both should have the same number of interfaces and their names configured, same admin credentials set.

Confirmation

Master and Slave boxes are configured to use High Availability with 2 Internet connections (WAN).
