Overview
When editing a particular interface in Kerio Control, you might find that the VLAN tab is missing from the properties window, thus preventing the creation of a VLAN Interface, whereas, other interfaces do have the VLAN tab.
Solution
In order to set-up a VLAN in a physical interface, it needs to be configured as a Standalone interface. If the interface is configured as a LAN Switch then the VLAN tab will not be available in the Interface Properties window.
Follow the steps in Configuring Ethernet Ports in Hardware Appliances article to change the settings to a Standalone Interface.
Testing
- Once the setting is successfully changed to a Standalone interface, the VLAN tab will be available for that interface.
- You can then create VLANs using the steps mentioned in Managing VLAN Interfaces in Kerio Control article.
