Overview
The built-in WiFi connection on the Kerio Control NG300 series appliance keeps on dropping and that SSID disappears. The Guest interface stays stuck at Connecting, but all the LAN interfaces stay connected without any issues. A reboot of the appliance resolves the issue temporarily.
Solution
- Login to Kerio Control as an Administrator.
- Go to Configuration > Interfaces.
- Double-click the Guest interface. Alternatively, you can select the Guest interface and click on the
Edit
button. - Select the
IPv6
tab. - Uncheck the
Enable
checkbox and clickOK
. - Click on
Apply
.
Testing
The problem should no longer appear and all the interfaces should stay connected.
In case the problem persists, open a support ticket with us and follow the below steps to send the appropriate logs for troubleshooting:
- Login to Kerio Control as an Administrator.
- Go to Logs > Debug.
- Right-click in the messages area and select
Messages
. - Select the options
Packets dropped for some reason
,Wifi
,Connection Tracking
, andInternet Connectivity
and clickOK
. - Right-click in the messages area and select Clear Log.
- Go to Status > System Health.
- Click on
Reboot
. - When the issue occurs again, download the entire debug log file and send the same to support.
