Overview
If there is a need to expose the NVR services to the internet, a specific Kerio Control configuration needs to be applied. CCTV requires static public IP to be assigned by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
This article provides information on how to configure Traffic Rules and DHCP settings for such a scenario.
Solution
- Ensure that you have added the static IP address from your ISP to the network interface. Please refer to Adding IP Addresses to an Interface.
- Configure a DHCP reservation for your NVR. For more information, please refer to Reserving a DHCP IP Address.
- In the Traffic rules section, configure a separate rule for NVR with the following content:
Source: Any
Destination: <Static Public IP address provided by ISP>
Services: TCP 80, TCP 37777, UDP 37778, TCP & UDP 554
Tip: You can get the ports used for your NVR from the vendors or you can leave this empty so it has the value of any.
Translation: MAP <private IP address of your NVR server>
