Overview

While trying to update Antivirus, the update fails with the following error message:

  Antivirus Server error:(PID: 16659) Unable to fetch updates: HttpError404 (-2112)

  Unable to perform Kerio Antivirus update. Error: Unable to fetch updates: HttpError404
  (-2112)

Last update check field reports Failed <X minutes ago> status.

Solution

This error usually means there is an issue on GFI/Kerio update servers. Please open a support ticket and provide your AV log!

That's why such AV update problem will affect all customers across all installations and environments.

Important: you need to double-verify your own Kerio Control installation behaves the same way (returns AV HttpError404).

For resolution, escalate the issue to SaaS based on the routing table!

Once Saas confirms the issue is resolved, verify the Antivirus updates functionality (Update Now button) in your own Environment and inform the customer about the results.
