Overview
While accessing online streaming, voice/video calls resources, online games, messengers through Kerio Control firewall, the users are getting frequent timeout errors every 2-3 minutes. The connection drops for 1 second or so, but that interrupts the services completely.
This article provides details on how to allow traffic for Viber, Facebook messenger, PUBG, Call of Duty, and Steam applications.
Solution
All the mentioned above apps require different ports for stable communication between the end-users (PCs, mobile phones, tablets, etc) and the Application servers. You can specify all the relevant service ports for each application and then create a Traffic Rule for allowing the traffic to pass.
- In Kerio Control Webadmin navigate to Services and click Add.
- Specify the necessary parameters for each messenger and game:
- Viber

Source Port: Any
Destination Port (List): 5242,4244,5243,7985,80,443 - Facebook messenger
