While trying to perform a Product Registration or license renewal/upgrade on the hardware box (NG100, NG300, NG500) using the
license.key file or license number, the Kerio Control system refuses to accept the license. The error generated is Unable to continue. The security code or the license number is not entered correctly.
When using the offline registration wizard, the
Sending registration data... screen may generate Cannot load new license file error.
You may encounter such problems if the information in the license file is incorrect. Make sure that the license settings, hardware details in the license file are correct by either manually downloading the license file OR contact the Sales or Order Team to create a new license file.
- Manually download the license file and register it offline by following the steps in the 'Solution' section of this article.
- Contact the Sales team or Orders team directly and provide this information in the email to receive an updated license file:
- License key
- Hardware box Serial number
- Customer ID
- Full Name
- Email address registered in the license details
Once you get an updated license key file from the Sales or the Orders team, import it into the Hardware box through the Registration wizard :
Once the new license key file has all the correct information and settings, it can be successfully registered through the Registration wizard.
