This article provides information on addressing customer's requests for migrating their license keys.
The Kerio Contro license key has enabled extensions that a customer can only use on specific hardware or environment. However, some customers may need to replace their existing Kerio Control Box (NG100 to NG300) if the current one no longer meets their network requirements or if they want to move from the HW box to a Virtual Appliance and vice-versa. In this case, the Kerio License must also be migrated to support the new environment.
To check if the Kerio Control license is for a Virtual Appliance or is tied up to an HW box, log in to KISS and find this information under the List of extensions for that license.
Technical Support is not allowed to make changes to the license key. Therefore, the Support agent must contact firstname.lastname@example.org via Side Conversation to modify the license as per the customer's request.
