Overview
Kerio Control version 7.4.2 and older included installation packages as a standard Windows application (.exe files).
Starting from version 8.0 it's no longer possible to install Kerio Control in Windows. However, you can use a virtualized environment (Hyper-V, VMware) on Windows OS to install Virtual Appliance.
Important: versions 7 and 8 reached EOL state in 2016 and 2018 respectively. The support services are no longer provided for such outdated software. Please contact Sales if you require any assistance.
Solution
To migrate Kerio Control installed on Windows to Linux distribution systems:
- Ensure Kerio Control is upgraded to the latest milestone version (i.e 7.4.2).
- Migrate Kerio Control installation from MS Windows to Linux VM by referring to the following support article:
