While trying to update the IPS signatures database, the update failed error is shown in the Dashboard.
In Intrusion Prevention settings, the "Unable to connect to update server" message is returned.

IPS rules update check failed: Couldn't connect
to server entries.

Such IPS update issue could happen due to a traffic rule blocking IP Range for IPS and other Kerio updates.
Make sure there is no traffic rule explicitly blocking the connection to the following hosts:
The second reason for this issue to occur is problems with GFI/Kerio internal servers. If that is the case, the issue will be observed globally, on all Kerio Control installations. The automated alert for the Infrastructure team will be generated. Please contact the Support team to receive updates on a resolution.
