Overview
Kerio Control can automatically backup and upload the configuration files to your FTP server every day. Each backup includes Configuration files, SSL certificates, and DHCP leases.
Solution
- In the Administration interface, navigate to Configuration > Remote Services > Configuration Backup.
- Select the Enable automatic daily backup option.
- In the Settings menu, select FTP.
- Type the username and password of your FTP server.
- In the URL field, type the location for backups of your Kerio Control. You can use the following FTP address formats:
- Domain name:
ftp://server.domain
- A custom port on the server-side:
ftp://server.domain:port
- Path relative to a user's home directory:
ftp://server.domain/path
- Absolute path:
ftp://server.domain/%2Fdirectory-in-root/other-directory
- IPv4/IPv6 address:
ftp://IPv4-address
orftp://[IPv6-address]
- Domain name:
- Click on Apply.
Note: For immediate configuration backups to the FTP server, click on Backup Now. Kerio Control uploads configuration files once a day.
