Overview
This article shares information about using MyKerio to define the following shared definitions across Kerio Control appliances:
- IP address groups
- URL groups
- Time ranges
Note: This functionality is only available for appliances using Kerio Control 9.0 or newer versions.
Information
You can create and keep definitions directly in Kerio Control appliances, but these local definitions cannot be shared with other Kerio Control appliances. With MyKerio, you can:
- Create definitions directly within MyKerio and share them across appliances within the same organization; or
- Import definitions from existing Kerio Control appliances and share them with other Kerio Control appliances within the same organization.
If you create shared definitions in MyKerio that already exist in the appliance, MyKerio automatically converts the existing definitions to shared definitions.
Once your Kerio Control appliance starts using the shared definitions, they become read-only in the appliance. You can, however, manage these definitions using MyKerio.
